The Missouri Colleges Fund (MCF) has been providing scholarship gifts since 1952 to make sure that private higher education in Missouri is affordable for students from diverse backgrounds and financial need. One of the MCF's main initiatives is to enhance education for first-generation, low-income and new students by supporting private colleges and universities.

Since its inception in 1952, the Missouri Colleges Fund (MCF) has been committed to making private higher education in Missouri accessible and affordable for students from all backgrounds and financial circumstances. One of the MCF's key initiatives is to improve college access and success for "first opportunity students," including those who are low-income, first-generation or otherwise considered "at risk."
By partnering with private colleges and universities throughout the state, the MCF aims to provide these students with the resources and support they need to succeed academically and professionally. Through its efforts, the MCF is helping to ensure that a college education remains within reach for all Missourians, regardless of their socioeconomic status or other factors that may have historically limited their opportunities.

The Missouri Colleges Fund (MCF) has been able to obtain scholarship gifts since 1952 to make sure that private higher education in Missouri is accessible and affordable for students from all backgrounds and financial situations. One of the MCF's "signature initiatives" is to increase the number of students studying math and science. The main objective of this initiative is to support independent/private colleges and universities in increasing the number of students who obtain education degrees and return to teach in Missouri classrooms.

Since 1952, the Missouri Colleges Fund (MCF) has secured scholarship gifts to help ensure that access to private higher education in Missouri is an affordable option for students from all backgrounds and levels of financial need.

Increasing the number of students majoring in education, preparing to return to teach in the Missouri’s classrooms is one of the MCF’s “signature initiatives.” Its purpose is to encourage and support independent/private colleges and universities in effectively increasing the number of students obtaining education degrees, returning to teach in Missouri classrooms.
